WAMBUI MUKENYI BRIDAL COLLECTION 2014.

Wambui Mungai who is the Head Designer of the known Kenyan Brand Wambui Mukenyi released her Bridal Collection on Saturday at Sankara Nairobi . She mainly sticks to women's-wear where she mixes and matches different types of colours, patterns and textures making her quite a versatile designer.
The Wambui Mukenyi brand brings her classy, contemporary aesthetic to the fashion-forward wedding party. Each garment in this inaugural bridal collection has been touched by Wambui’s continuing commitment to elegance and glamour.
The unapologetically feminine gowns are carefully made with every bride in mind, from the innocent princess to the trendsetting rebelle du jour. This is showcased by the daring, strapless necklines, complimented by delicately boned bodices that are reminiscent of Victorian corsetry.
Romance meets passion in fit and flare styles as floor length layered skirts pair effortlessly with mermaid silhouettes. Each gown is a regal reverie with delicate detailing - clouds of tulle, lace and chiffon infuse with detailed embroidery and intricate beading, creating a dreamy, alluring vision. The pièce de resistance is an onyx tulle gown that pays homage to the guile and sensuality of the black swan.
Glamour is not just restricted to the bride-to-be. Bridesmaids are unforgettably chic in a range of jewel tone dresses from lapis, tourmaline, and emerald, with mystical, matchless allure in a variety of patterns from thigh high slits to peplum waists, colour blocked sashes and cheeky cut-outs.
Embracing both classic and new styles, these effortlessly eye catchinggowns capture every bride’s fantasy, and transport all who see her and her party into the enchanted wonderland where she is the star.
